- Remember your preferences.
- Improve your experience.
- Show relevant ads.
You can turn cookies off in your browser, but some parts of our site may not work as intended.
9. Third Parties
Sometimes we link to or work with other companies. If you click on a link to another site or use their services, their privacy policy applies, not ours.
10. How We Protect Your Information
We use industry-standard safeguards to keep your data safe and only allow access to authorized employees and contractors who need it. That said, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee complete protection. To learn how we protect exchange funds, see How We Protect Your Money.

We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe your child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
15. What Happens if There's a Data Breach
If a data breach occurs, we will let you know as required by law. Depending on the situation, this may include an email to you or a public notice on our website.
16. Do Not Track Requests
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Our site does not currently respond to these signals, but you can manage your tracking preferences through your browser settings.
17. Sensitive Information
Our website forms do not ask for sensitive data such as Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers or bank account numbers. Opening a 1031 exchange requires some of this information for legal and tax reasons. When it does, we will explain why, collect it through a secure channel and protect it with extra care. Please do not send it through our website forms or by ordinary email.
18. Employee and Contractor Access
Only people who need your data to do their jobs (employees, contractors or service providers) can access it. They are bound by confidentiality obligations.
19. Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to outside sites. We aren't responsible for their privacy practices. Check their policies before sharing information with them.
20. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make major changes, we'll let you know by posting a notice on our site. The updated version takes effect right away unless we say otherwise.
